About the role
This Assistant Vice President role focuses on the engineering and maintenance of enterprise-scale global voice infrastructure within Global Technology Services. The engineer will design, implement, and support VoIP solutions, SIP trunking, and voice recording systems to ensure reliable and compliant communication services.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex enterprise-scale voice solutions including Cisco CUCM and Unity environments
- Manage and maintain Session Border Controllers and SIP trunking architectures for global connectivity
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for critical voice infrastructure incidents
- Oversee the integration of legacy telephony systems with modern collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams
- Maintain and configure voice recording platforms such as NICE or Verba to meet regulatory compliance requirements
- Conduct regular capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure voice network stability
- Collaborate with network and security teams to implement robust QoS and voice security protocols
- Lead project delivery for voice infrastructure upgrades and new technology migrations
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures for the voice platform
- Manage vendor relationships and telecommunication service providers for circuit provisioning and hardware support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise-level voice engineering or infrastructure services
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols including SIP, H.323, MGCP, and SCCP
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise Session Border Controllers such as Oracle or Ribbon
- Familiarity with enterprise contact center technologies such as Cisco UCCX or Genesys
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and firewall interaction
- Experience working in a large-scale global enterprise or financial services environment
- Knowledge of voice recording regulations and compliance standards like MiFID II
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for mission-critical infrastructure support
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP Collaboration or CCIE are highly preferred
