About the role

This internship position supports the Global Consumer Financial Services team in managing fraud risk and advisory for digital business channels. The intern will assist in identifying emerging fraud trends, conducting risk assessments for digital products, and enhancing detection logic to protect consumer assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in fraud risk assessments for new digital products and services within consumer banking
  • Perform data analysis to identify emerging fraud trends and patterns in digital transactions
  • Support the development and enhancement of fraud detection rules and monitoring logic
  • Participate in project meetings for digital business initiatives to provide fraud risk advisory inputs
  • Assist in documenting fraud risk policies and standard operating procedures for the prevention team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to investigate potential fraud incidents and system vulnerabilities
  • Prepare management reports on fraud statistics and key risk indicators (KRIs)
  • Support the team in reviewing system alerts and optimizing case management workflows

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong interest in fraud risk management, digital banking, and financial technology
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify anomalies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables and Vlookups for data manipulation
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred
  • Basic understanding of SQL for data extraction and analysis is an advantage
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Available for a full-time internship commitment from January to May 2026
  • Knowledge of digital payment ecosystems and online security protocols
