Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate compliance programs and ethical guidelines
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments across business units to identify non-conformity
- Monitor global regulatory changes specifically regarding export controls, EAR, and ITAR regulations
- Lead investigations into reported compliance breaches and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Provide training and education to employees on compliance protocols and anti-corruption policies
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure robust vendor and third-party due diligence
- Manage documentation and reporting requirements for external regulatory bodies and government agencies
- Advise executive leadership on the compliance risks associated with new market entries or business initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compliance, audit, or legal roles
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations including EAR and ITAR
- Proven experience working within a manufacturing or high-tech engineering environment
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts
- Strong communication and presentation skills for reporting to senior management
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and GRC software
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professional integrity
- Professional compliance certification (e.g., CCEP) is preferred
