The role is responsible for evaluating credit applications, making approval decisions, monitoring portfolio risk, and providing guidance on credit policies for large corporate clients. It also involves mentoring relationship managers and supporting risk mitigation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit applications, ratings, and transactional approvals for existing and new large corporates originated across the Bank's global network.
- Provide credit decisions / approvals on credit propositions/ reviews, temporary excesses and transactional exceptions within authorized lending authority limits.
- Work with Relationship Managers to ensure all credit transactions are in accordance with the Bank's credit policy, credit underwriting standards and risk appetite.
- Monitor sector/industry developments and maintain proactive oversight of allocated portfolios and clients from a client-specific, industry and country perspectives.
- Work closely with business units to identify early warning signs and provide timely & sound credit risk mitigation strategies for potentially weak credits for early remediation.
- Perform targeted portfolio reviews in response to events/developments that may have an adverse impact on the overall credit quality of exposures, portfolios and formulate action plans to minimize / manage risks identified.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit underwriting and risk assessment.
- Ability to manage complex credit transactions within policy limits.
- Strong advisory skills for business unit partnership.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members is beneficial.
