The Senior/Premier Relationship Manager oversees a high-net-worth portfolio of offshore clients within the South Asia region, specifically focusing on the Malaysian market. The role involves providing tailored wealth management solutions, investment advice, and ensuring all banking activities meet stringent regulatory and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of high-net-worth offshore clients based in Malaysia
- Provide comprehensive wealth management and financial planning advice tailored to individual client needs
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for investment products, insurance, and lending
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and rebalancing to ensure alignment with client risk profiles and financial goals
- Identify and acquire new-to-bank high-net-worth customers through active prospecting and networking
- Collaborate with internal product specialists to deliver complex structured products and investment solutions
- Maintain rigorous adherence to AML, KYC, and local regulatory requirements for offshore banking
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain high client retention and satisfaction scores
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in relationship management or wealth management within the banking industry
- Proven track record of managing offshore South Asia or Malaysia client segments
- Strong understanding of wealth management products including equities, bonds, mutual funds, and structured products
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Possession of relevant local certifications such as IPPC, FIMM, or CWF is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence high-net-worth individuals
- Deep knowledge of Malaysian and international financial regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial market trends and client portfolio performance
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Malay or other regional languages is a significant advantage
- Willingness to travel periodically to Malaysia or other South Asian locations for client meetings
