Strategic Buyer responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement for Power Generation projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, managing a high‑performing supplier network, and driving cost, risk, and compliance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for project‑related materials, systems, and services.
- Conduct supplier market analysis and identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and long‑term agreements.
- Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes for project‑specific procurement scopes.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales, engineering, finance, and operations to align procurement with project schedules and cost targets.
- Integrate procurement planning into overall project timelines and contribute to risk assessments.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Several years of experience in procurement, preferably within a project-oriented and technical environment.
- Proven experience in sourcing diesel system enclosure packagers and key components such as radiator, switchgear & control panel across Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.
- Demonstrated experience in driving supplier search & development, relationship building, technical requirement management, commercial negotiations, capacity planning & securing supplier commitments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
