About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales of MTU power generation products across the Asia Pacific region (excluding Greater China), working closely with engineering teams, partners, and customers. The role involves achieving sales targets, building pipelines, and delivering technical solutions. Travel overseas and participation in trade shows are also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for MTU power generation products.
  • Drive business development, identify new opportunities, and build a sales pipeline across APAC markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with application engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and support proposal preparation.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and prepare strategic market decisions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, attend trade shows, manage regional tenders, and travel overseas.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in power generation or a relevant industry.
  • Proven technical sales experience with generator systems, diesel/gas engines, or mission‑critical power solutions.
  • Experience across multiple APAC markets (preferred) and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering/application teams and engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
