About the role
Manufacturing Services Intern at Rolls‑Royce supporting manufacturing processes through data analysis, predictive maintenance, vendor coordination, maintenance planning, problem‑solving and workshop/inventory support in a high‑performance precision‑engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support predictive maintenance by assisting in advancing digital tools and strategies for predictive and analytical maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors, acting as liaison between vendors and technical team, managing fixture care programmes and updating fixture passports
- Help plan weekly preventive maintenance and coordinate improvement projects such as OFI, 3C, ONE Plan
- Contribute to 8D root cause investigations and support quality, cost, and safety improvement initiatives
- Assist with inventory control and collaborate with technicians on workshop improvement projects
Requirements
- Students pursuing Engineering degrees (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, etc.)
- Basic programming knowledge, e.g., Python
- Exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI, Minitab, MATLAB, or ThingWorx
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance concepts, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
