About This Role
An Airport Emergency Officer (Specialist) will be trained in firefighting and leadership skills, then assigned to a fire station for operational experience.
Responsibilities
- Rescue and firefighting operations during emergencies
- Operating advanced fire vehicles and specialized equipment
- Ensuring the operational effectiveness of the firefighting unit under supervision
- Preparation for rescue and firefighting tasks in accordance with ICAO requirements
- Participating in 1-month Airport Fire Officer course for leadership skills
- Performing duties at airport fire stations and military airbases
Requirements
- Diploma from a local polytechnic
- Interest and passion about rescue work
- Capability to handle physically demanding nature of rescue work
- Determined and resilient mindset
