About the role
Senior Research Engineer supporting the design, development, and integration of advanced machine‑vision and optical inspection systems for semiconductor manufacturing, collaborating with optics, imaging, and software teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, assembly, and integration of high‑resolution imaging systems
- Contribute to vision system architecture alongside optical and software teams
- Collaborate on system prototyping, lab testing, and industrial deployment
- Translate concept designs into manufacturable hardware with research scientists and engineers
- Document designs, drawings, and specifications for prototyping and scale‑up
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Excellent understanding of optics, lasers, and imaging systems
- Familiarity with precision optical or imaging system design (preferred)
- Expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including frameworks, CNNs, large datasets, labeling tools, and model optimization
- Proficiency in Python; experience with C++ for performance‑critical applications
- Knowledge of software development best practices such as version control, testing, and debugging
