Full Job Description
Job Description: Lead, manage and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technicians in the day-to-day operations to meet daily production targets. Optimize WIP management to maximize throughput and linearity. Allocate and deploy manpower effectively for optimum productivity. Plan out manpower training to increase shift deployment flexibility. Engage specialists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement. Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on corrective/preventive actions. Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus. Resolve and handle line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues so as to be able to identify, implement temporary solutions and work with Engineering team to resolve them. Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance in work area by all personnel. Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity. Engage support groups like IE and Engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling. Drive quality and productivity improvement projects. Lead/contribute in cross-module/cross-fab improvement projects. Job Requirements: Degree in Engineering or related discipline Strong leadership and motivational abilities Highly driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem solving skills Strong team player Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint software
