About the role
The role involves contributing to the redesign of aircraft cabin interior components and supporting the development of polymer and composite processing technologies. The engineer will work across research and industrial settings, handling process innovation, structural testing, and failure analysis, while preparing CAD drawings, prototypes, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support technical execution and delivery of projects in thermoforming, composite moulding, or polymer melt‑flow processes
- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for components and tooling
- Conduct prototype fabrication, pre‑production fitment trials, product quality control, and laboratory tests
- Perform material characterization and testing for polymers and composites
- Carry out part failure analysis and finite‑element simulations for redesign projects
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, laboratory data, methodologies, results, and technical drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Material Science & Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD software with at least 1 year of mechanical design experience
- Experience handling heavy equipment and conducting physical experiments and process troubleshooting
- Hands‑on experience in polymeric material processing such as thermoforming, injection moulding, or composite processing (highly advantageous)
- Willingness to acquire new knowledge in material testing, jig design, and Singapore Airworthiness Regulation requirements
- Strong attention to detail and inclination toward process and laboratory work
