About the role
The Laboratory Officer supports the adaptive robotics and mechatronics group by setting up experiments, operating humanoid and robotic arms, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining lab equipment and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up experiments and trials to support project execution, including data collection, processing, and analysis
- Learn and master operations of humanoid robots and robotic arms, then conduct experimentations for data collection
- Carry out experimental procedures while ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform upkeep, and manage assets and inventory
Requirements
- Basic knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Competent in interpreting engineering drawings using software tools such as Altium and SolidWorks
- Fundamental understanding of robotics and automation concepts
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure (RA/SWP) documentation
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or C++ is beneficial
