Research Engineer in Remanufacturing Process Technology focusing on automation architecture, control systems, tooling design, and AI-driven process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation architecture including control loops, instrumentation, hardware, and communication networks
- Design tooling and fixtures for automation of processing setups using CAD software
- Perform system integration between sensors, actuators, and controllers
- Conduct processing trials and experimental analysis to ensure process stability
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability
- Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and customers for deployment support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in R&D or industrial manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks (preferred)
- Experience with welding, WAAM, or other manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Experience with coding for control and automation and knowledge of AI libraries and data processing tools
- Understanding of process control design, system integration, PLC control, machine-to-machine communication, and signal processing
