Assistant Engineer

<h2><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li><p>Ensure that the plant complies with regulatory and HSE requirements</p></li><li><p>Responsible for day to day plant operations ensuring that the plant meets efficiently its operational and quality requirements</p></li><li><p>Perform quality monitoring and operational works according to the safety requirement</p></li><li><p>Carry out continuous process/ operational improvement programs</p></li><li><p>Carry out plant process trouble-shooting when required</p></li><li><p>Preparation and periodic review of Work Instructions</p></li><li><p>Responsible for monitoring the plants’ energy performance</p></li><li><p>Ensure that the plant documentation conforms with ISO requirements</p></li><li><p>Coordinate daily activities with Maintenance Departments</p></li><li><p>Senior Authorized Person under Permit To Work system, authorizing maintenance works in the Plant and ensuring preparedness of the equipment (isolation/de-energization) to carry out works</p></li><li><p>Site Incident Controller, activating response team and external parties, during Emergencies at site</p></li><li><p>Lead the Shift Team whilst on duty and assuming overall responsibility on site during non-office hours</p></li><li><p>Liaise with PUB and external parties to fulfill operational requirements.</p></li><li><p>Raise Service Request upon finding any abnormality during Plant operation</p></li><li><p>Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS</b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li><p>Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or other related engineering fields</p></li><li><p>At least 5 years of working experience for Diploma holders and 2 years of working experience for Degree holders</p></li><li><p>Positive attitude and a good team-player</p></li><li><p>Willing to work on shift</p></li><li><p>Willing to work at multiple sites</p></li><li><p>Willing to work beyond normal working hours due to operational needs of the plant</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>BUSINESS SEGMENT</b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Infrastructure<p></p><p></p><h2><b>PLATFORM</b></h2><p></p>Operating Division
