About the role

This is a two-year contract role for an Accountant at Kris+, the digital lifestyle platform of Singapore Airlines. The position manages end-to-end financial reporting, regulatory MAS compliance, and process automation projects to support payment program initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain a full set of accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy and proper supporting documentation
  • Prepare and submit monthly flash and actual results to SIA in accordance with stipulated timelines
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring activities, including analysis and commentary
  • Support and contribute to automation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls
  • Support periodic reviews of processes and controls to ensure robust governance and compliance
  • Work closely with the loyalty programme business unit to support the roll-out of new initiatives on the payment programme
  • Prepare quarterly Board papers for submission to the Board
  • Work with the Tax department on GST and corporate tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate finance inputs
  • Liaise with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and ensure timely resolution of audit queries

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in financial reporting and/or full set of accounts
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g. MAS) and audit coordination will be an advantage
  • Meticulous and strong attention to detail

  • Team player who can also work independently, manage timelines, and handle multiple priorities
