About the role

The Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre manages daily crew rosters and flight compliance for Singapore Airlines. The role ensures all flights depart with a full complement of crew while adhering to Air Navigation Act regulatory rules and managing operational disruptions in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and manage crew rosters daily using the Crew Manager system primarily used for Crew Tracking.
  • Verify alerts in CM pertaining to ANR, rest, operational, and flight recency to avoid violations.
  • Monitor open pairings and ensure all flights depart with full complement of crew through proper management of standby resources.
  • Execute Load Based Variable Manning based on passenger loads and specific aircraft types.
  • Submit daily APIS, APP and CTA to relevant Authorities at overseas stations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve operational problems and handle crewing requirements arising from flight delays, diversion, AOG, aircraft changes, and cancellations.
  • Ensure all flights adhere to ANR regulatory rules on Flight Duty Period, Flight Time Limitations, minimum rest rules, and Collective Agreement.
  • Attend to crew requests such as medical leave, off-days, annual leave, and flight requests due to flight recency.
  • Assist the implementation and enhancements to IT systems in Control Centre such as Crew App, Crew Manager [CMX] and Notifications to Crew.
  • Assist Crisis Management team in handling crisis as outlined in the Crisis Management Manual.

Requirements

  • Possess a diploma in any discipline.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced and challenging environment by dealing with operational exigencies.
  • Able to fulfill 12 hours shift requirements including day shifts (0800 to 2000 hours) and night shifts (2000 to 0800 hours).
  • Willingness to build knowledge of SQ aircraft equipment, crew complement requirements and crew operating patterns.
