About the role

This is a 2-year contract role for a Finance Systems Product Owner responsible for leading digital initiatives and roadmaps. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between Finance business users and IT teams to implement and support SAP S4 HANA FI and CO modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for Finance systems, ensuring alignment between Finance process needs and system capabilities
  • Collaborate with functional teams to identify, define, and document business needs, user requirements, and system enhancements
  • Lead business process reviews and formulate use cases with business users
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery for new projects and enhancements including requirements gathering and functional design
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders for smooth delivery and achievement of business KPIs
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring business requirements are met
  • Drive change management, communications, and post-implementation reviews
  • Provide operational support for Finance systems by guiding users on system usage, authorisation, and administration
  • Manage incident resolution and periodic system tasks
  • Support audits and compliance reviews of Finance IT applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Business Technology, or ERP system implementation
  • Prior hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA FI & CO modules
  • Strong understanding of core Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders
  • Experience in Agile delivery and stakeholder management is an advantage
  • Exposure to tools such as SharePoint and Tableau will be beneficial
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
