- The Senior Manager, Inventory & Logistics Business Control is a critical finance role responsible for the financial oversight, accuracy, and governance of inventory and logistics cost flows at ASM.

- What you will be working on
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation under standard costing methodology, support periodic standard cost updates and revaluation of inventory balances
- Perform and review inventory reconciliations across ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and physical stock counts, investigating and resolving variances
Requirements
- On Inventory valuation Lead process documentation and control improvement initiatives for inventory receiving, transfer, and disposition workflows Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems (SAP, other systems), and reporting tools Drive automation of manual inventory reconciliation and reporting processes using ERP tools, BI platforms, and scripting/data tools Team Leadership & Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 2 finance professionals supporting manufacturing operations globally Define team priorities, establish operating cadences, and foster a culture of analytical rigor, proactive business partnership, and continuous improvement Mentor team members on financial modeling, business communication, and cross-functional influence skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or professionally recognized certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA)
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance processes, systems, and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance/controlling experience, relevant experience in manufacturing finance roles Experience managing financial aspects of global supply chains operations including multi-site and multi-currency inventory management Exposure to demand planning and S&OP financial integration Proficiency in SAP S4 ERP systems in a manufacturing context, advanced analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau), advanced Excel and financial modeling Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams in fast-moving, technology-driven organizations.
- Brings rigorous quantitative discipline to E&O analysis, logistics cost modeling, and working capital optimization Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic industry Experience in the semiconductor industry or other high-technology or advanced manufacturing sector
