Lead the drive for Data Governance within Global Operations, focusing on maintaining documentation, enforcing rules across functions, and pioneering the application of advanced AI/ML techniques to automate and enhance data quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive data governance documentation, including policies, standards, definitions, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with Data Owners and data stewards to enforce established Data Governance rules across Global Operations functions.
  • Drive early-stage exploration for AI Governance, clarifying scope, use-case inventory, risk tiers, and key decision points to shape the operating model.
  • Establish and socialize an AI Governance framework covering roles, responsibilities, controls, and documentation for the entire AI lifecycle.
  • Develop, monitor, measure, and report on data quality KPIs and scorecards.
  • Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the exploration for Enterprise Data Catalogs development using relevant tools.
  • Drive agenda and lead discussions in Data Governance Council meetings.
  • Develop Agentic AI pilots to automate core Data Governance Processes, Data Quality Monitoring, Access Controls, drift detection, and autonomous issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics Information Systems, or related quantitative/STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics, or Data SME roles.
  • Proven experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, or Master Data Management programs.
  • Familiarity with DAMA principles.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data validation and profiling.
  • Familiarity with commercial data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Atlan).
  • Understanding of data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and ETL pipelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders.
