YOUR ROLE As Senior Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible to lead a group of equipment engineer and maintenance staffs and provide technical expertise/support on specific tool type, accountable to real time problem analysis and solution implementation to achieve best possible maintenance performance (equipment control plan, wafer fab yield, throughput and cost efficiency). Your responsibilities will include: Manage new equipment start-up and collaborating with vendor for acceptance. Develop preventive maintenance procedure for optimal PM efficiency and quality Create corrective maintenance procedure and troubleshooting guideline for shift maintenance personnel Drive safety excellence by conducting regular Gemba audit, identify potential risk and foster a safety awareness culture Role model for demonstrating leadership model and deputy to section manager when required. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronics or similar Extensive knowledge of metallization tool (sputtering/evaporation) Strong analytical and problem solving skill Excellent communication and interpersonal skill Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline and dynamic work environment ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
