About the role
The Crane Operator supports cargo lifting operations at port terminals, ensuring safe transport between shore and boats. The role involves operating cranes within safety parameters and coordinating with lifting and boat crews in a shift-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support cargoes lifting works at the lighter terminals as part of the equipment specialist working groups in shifts
- Operate crane within operating parameters and specifications
- Handle cargoes efficiently, in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate between lifting supervisors, lifting crew, boat crew as well as external contractor for cargo handling
- Ensure cargoes are delivered safely from shore to boats, and vice versa
- Provide a professional and efficient standard of service to port users
Requirements
- Mobile crane license (experience with quay crane is an advantage)
- Comfortable working in an IT-enabled environment (usage of gadget, iPad, etc.)
- Suitable level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Able to adapt in a fluid and challenging environment
- Accept cross-deployment within main port, and its terminals (e.g. Marina South Wharves)
- Able to perform overtime duties when required
- Strong team player, and experience in port operations
- Good team player, and communication skill
