About the role
The Deputy Project Manager, Transformation leads end-to-end project execution and process optimization within industrial or maritime operations. This role focuses on researching new technologies, developing engineering solutions, and driving on-ground implementation to enhance safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution, from feasibility studies to implementation
- Develop engineering and process solutions for existing and new operations to improve safety, efficiency, and cost
- Manage Proof of Concept (POC) projects, tracking progress and ensuring final implementation
- Conduct research on new technologies and operational methods to enhance productivity and safety
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, and training materials for implementation
- Evaluate and optimize cargo handling operations, including cranes, lifting plans, risk assessments (RA), and process sequencing
- Communicate with stakeholders to secure buy-in for new solutions and process improvements
- Drive on-ground adoption and implementation, addressing operational challenges dynamically
- Conduct internal process and project audits to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Prepare internal purchase requests and oversee the procurement of services and equipment
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, technology, project management, supply chain management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in innovation, change management, process transformation or operations implementation
- Experience in maritime, engineering, construction or logistics industry preferred
- Ability to drive on-ground implementation of innovative solutions with users
- Possess design/critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS word programs (Power point, Word, Excel, etc.) and possess good presentation skills
- Ability to generate cost models and test financial feasibility
- Able to independently manage projects and make decisions on-ground
- Knowledge of engineering or supply chain processes
- Able to manage internal and external stakeholders and possess excellent people management skills
