About This Role

Seagate seeks a Manufacturing Specialist I in Singapore to manage all aspects of the production process, including equipment operation, assembly, and quality control. This role involves hands-on manufacturing tasks in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage production activities, including machine setup and operation of automatic/semi-automatic machinery.
• Perform basic electrical tasks during the assembly process to contribute to product manufacturing.
• Assemble components, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
• Follow supervisor instructions meticulously for manual tasks to maintain workflow.
• Handle process-related activities like Labelling, Packing & Palletizing of parts and boxes.
• Handle/shift parts and equipment using lifting aids.

Requirements

• Some manufacturing industry experience is advantageous.
• Basic English proficiency required.
• Ability to carry work items up to 3kg.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (Day/Night).
• Availability for weekends and public holidays.
• Adaptability to take on ad-hoc duties as assigned.
