About This Role
Lead electrical systems design for advanced semiconductor equipment as a Principal Engineer in Singapore. Drive system-level decisions from concept through production, ensuring high performance and robust integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design and development for semiconductor equipment.
- Own system-level integration of electrical, mechanical, and control elements.
- Define and validate digital/analog I/O architectures.
- Drive technical decision-making across new product development.
- Define and oversee system validation strategies including hardware testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as the electrical domain expert.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Min 5 years system engineering experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in electrical hardware design and system architecture.
- Proven ability to lead technical problem-solving and make design decisions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP).
- Hands-on experience in hardware testing and system validation.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global engineering environment.
- Strong communication skills in English.
