Job's mission
This role is responsible for end-to-end management of sales commission processes while supporting broader Sales Operations activities in forecasting and business review cadences. This role combines commission administration, data analytics, and sales operations support to ensure accurate incentive payouts, reliable performance tracking, and effective execution of sales processes. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate data into insights and enable informed business decisions.
What you will be working on
Commission Operations Ownership
Own the end-to-end commission cycle (monthly/quarterly) including accrual calculations to ensure accurate and timely payout processing.
Interpret and apply complex commission plans, including crediting rules, adjustments, and exceptions
Validate and reconcile sales data across Salesforce/CRM and finance systems prior to payout approval
Manage commission statements and provide transparency into earnings and calculations
Analytics & Business Insights
Develop dashboards and reports on sales performance, quota attainment, and commission payouts
Provide support for forecasting, performance monitoring, KPI reporting, and operational cadence reviews
Reconcile commission data against financial results to ensure consistency and audit readiness
Data Governance & Process Control
Ensure data integrity and consistency across CRM, compensation systems, and financial data sources
Establish robust validation checks, audit processes, and reconciliation controls
Maintain documentation for commission plans, sales crediting rules, and calculation methodologies
Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a key point of contact for Sales teams on commission and performance-related queries
Explain payout calculations, performance metrics, and sales data clearly and confidently
Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Finance and HR to align policies and data definitions
Process Optimization & Systems Enablement
Drive continuous improvement in commission processes, forecasting and sales operations workflows
Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort
Support implementation or enhancement of tools (CRM, commission systems, BI platforms)
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales compensation, finance, sales operations, or data analytics
Advanced Excel skills (modeling, complex formulas, large dataset handling)
Working proficiency in BI tools (such as Power BI, Incorta, Tableau) for dashboarding and reporting
Strong understanding of financial processes (accruals, reconciliation, close cycles)
