About the role
Provide medical information and communications support for a medical device company on a 1-year contract. Serve as the primary contact for medical inquiries, manage adverse event reporting, and deliver scientific training to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain medical information materials including standard response documents and FAQs
- Manage adverse event reporting and product complaint handling in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct scientific literature reviews and synthesize clinical data to support medical communications
- Provide medical training to internal teams including sales and marketing personnel
- Support the development and delivery of educational materials for healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, clinical research, and pharmacovigilance
- Monitor and analyze medical information trends to identify potential safety signals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical information, medical communications, or related field within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex scientific information
- Experience with medical writing and development of scientific materials
- Proficiency in literature searching and critical appraisal of scientific literature
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements for medical device or pharmaceutical products
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical information
- Experience with adverse event reporting systems preferred
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, or Master's) preferred
- Experience in medical device industry preferred
- Fluency in additional languages preferred
