Lead the validation of advanced semiconductor device models for cutting-edge process nodes, ensuring accuracy through silicon correlation and statistical analysis while mentoring a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead model validation activities for advanced semiconductor device models
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans for new process nodes
- Perform silicon correlation of device models against measured data from test chips
- Conduct Monte Carlo and corner analysis to validate statistical model accuracy
- Drive debug and resolution of model validation issues with cross-functional teams
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in model validation best practices
- Establish and maintain validation methodologies and documentation standards
- Interface with process integration and design teams to ensure model quality
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor device modeling and validation
- Strong understanding of CMOS device physics and process technology
- Expertise in SPICE and Verilog-A model development and validation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulation techniques
- Experience with EDA tools for circuit simulation and model validation
- Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, or MATLAB
- Demonstrated experience in silicon correlation and test chip validation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proven leadership experience in technical teams
- Experience with advanced process nodes (7nm and below preferred)
- Knowledge of layout effects and parasitic extraction
- Understanding of reliability and variation modeling
