About the role
The Component Procurement Specialist plans and purchases material requirements, maintains purchasing records, and manages supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted production in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and purchase material requirements to ensure uninterrupted material flow for ongoing production and new product introductions (NPI).
- Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP systems and supporting documentation.
- Monitor, identify, and resolve production material shortages and supply constraints.
- Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Place purchase orders and closely follow up with contract manufacturers (CMs) to support sales demand and fulfillment.
- Monitor CM production schedules and proactively address risks impacting material availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
