About the role

Senior IT Governance Specialist responsible for establishing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, risk management processes, and compliance standards for a Tier 1 semiconductor manufacturer. The role involves ensuring alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain IT governance framework aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and monitor IT risk management processes and controls
  • Lead IT compliance initiatives including SOX, ISO 27001, and SEMI standards
  • Conduct regular IT audits and assessments to ensure policy compliance
  • Create and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards documentation
  • Oversee IT change management processes and governance boards
  • Manage IT vendor relationships and third-party risk assessments
  • Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs for governance effectiveness
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on IT governance initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance
  • Professional certification in one or more: CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP
  • Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and regulations
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and COBIT frameworks
  • Experience with IT audit and compliance frameworks
  • Proven track record in developing IT policies and procedures
  • Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
