About the role
Research Engineer responsible for developing and optimizing PECVD processes, diagnosing equipment issues, collaborating with vendors, conducting DOE, characterizing processes, establishing SPC, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize PECVD processes to support program requirements.
- Diagnose malfunctions and use test equipment or software to test faulty hardware parts.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to optimize equipment performance and reduce tool downtime.
- Set up and execute design of experiments (DOEs) for new processes and evaluate experimental data.
- Champion process window characterization and evaluation to drive quality and yield improvement.
- Collaborate with process integration teams to implement technology roadmaps and define process capability requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of direct industry experience in a thin film department.
- Extensive proficiency in PECVD processes, equipment, parts, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of PECVD hardware is advantageous.
- Hands‑on experience with basic process characterization techniques such as SEM/TEM, EDX, SIMS, and Ellipsometry.
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
