About the role

Manager/Senior Manager role in the HHP Joint Planning and Coordination Team, responsible for strategic planning, coordination, and governance of the HHP Data System, a national initiative to enhance biomedical and health research data ecosystem in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development of strategies and identify priorities and initiatives for HHP Data System, including improving discoverability of HHP Ecosystem data, uplifting research data quality and curation, developing coordinated HHP Ecosystem network, and supporting establishment of de-identified standing repositories.
  • Support promulgation of best practices such as data governance, data management, data stewardship, public comms, agreements etc. with the HHP ecosystem, including participation in ecosystem workgroup discussions and engagements with stakeholders.
  • Support set up and appointment of relevant governing board/committee such as RIE Data System Steering Committee and Sub-committees.
  • Perform secretariat functions for RIE Data System steering committee and Sub-committees, including agenda forecast and notes of meeting.
  • Track progress and performance of initiatives, and prepare progress updates, reports and presentations for RIE Data System governance and HHP-related meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree in Biomedical/Health sciences, Public Health, Data or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, policy analysis or transformation.
  • Experience in coordinating national level strategic programmes and knowledge of the RIE domain(s) are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and writing skills. Ability to synthesise complex data into clear narratives.
  • Strong coordination, stakeholder engagement and execution skills.
  • Ability to work across functions e.g. business, data and tech domains and manage ambiguities.
