About the role
Director-level leader for Advanced Process Modules, overseeing a 100+ scientist/engineer team to develop semiconductor manufacturing processes for More-than-Moore technologies across advanced packaging, photonics, optics, SiC, GaN, and MEMS.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of advanced unit processes for advanced packaging, silicon photonics, flat optics, GaN, SiC, and MEMS.
- Drive innovations in process methodologies, materials, and capture intellectual property aligned with program roadmaps.
- Oversee pathfinding, process development, and qualification to meet module technical specifications (MTS).
- Define and execute medium-to-long‑term roadmap for unit module development across A*STAR semiconductor flagship programs.
- Evaluate industry trends, collaborate with program teams, and identify process technology differentiators.
- Influence internal leadership, industry partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 15+ years of semiconductor process development experience.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership role managing complex teams/projects.
- Broad knowledge of optical lithography, etch, diffusion/thin films, electroplating, CMP, and bonding.
- Familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art semiconductor equipment and hardware innovations.
