Key Responsibilities
- Support contract negotiations and manage the contracting process for RIE TRUST Office projects, including preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of various agreements such as Research Collaboration Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements, NDAs, Service Agreements, and Data Transfer Agreements
- Engage with government, academic, and industry stakeholders to develop and execute contracts in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to ensure proposed arrangements are legally feasible and properly structured
- Analyze contracts to identify risks, liabilities, or gaps and work with RTO teams and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Monitor, gather, and act upon contract amendments and reviews
- Establish and maintain systematic contract documentation processes, including filing of hardcopy and softcopy records
Requirements
- Minimum degree in a related discipline
- 5 to 7 years of experience in contracts-related work, preferably within the local public research ecosystem or data-related fields
- Knowledge of research contracting terms and understanding of Singapore and international data privacy laws
- Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills
- Collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach with strong communication abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail
