Key Responsibilities

  • Decide and perform experiments to analyse and determine root cause of failure in GaN devices and circuits
  • Participate in cross‑functional FMEA teams to identify failure mechanisms
  • Support testing, process development and yield improvement initiatives
  • Lead device reliability/qualification activities and data correlation studies
  • Collect, analyse and present large data sets with actionable recommendations
  • Develop new FMEA techniques to improve detection capability and productivity

Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Physics, or MS in EE with 10+ years relevant experience
  • 7+ years of FMEA experience in semiconductor industry
  • Experience with Wide‑Bandgap (GaAs, GaN) devices is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of WBG device physics and fabrication
  • Hands‑on experience with analytical tools such as SIMS, XPS, AES, SEM, FIB‑SEM, TEM, AFM
  • Understanding of semiconductor qualification standards such as JEDEC
