Key Responsibilities
- We are seeking for a highly motivated and talented Research Officer/Laboratory Officer to join our Translational Retinal Research Laboratory as a Stem Cell Biologist.
- The successful candidate will contribute to the development, characterization and application of stem cell-derived retinal cells for the treatment of Age-related Macular Degeneration.
- Assist in the development and differentiation of stem cell-derived retinal cells.
- Perform cellular and molecular characterization of retinal cell types using advanced laboratory techniques.
- Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and documentation of research findings.
- Collaborate with team members on translational research aimed at therapeutic application.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Practical experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, immunostaining, microscopy).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
- Previous experience with stem cell culture or retinal biology is advantageous but not essential.
