Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams on sectoral industry development strategies and key company account management, building trusted relationships with R&D executives to develop productive collaborations.
- Lead industry development for national platforms and multi-institutional R&D programmes, serving on executive committees to guide strategic directions.
- Lead teams to shape R&D and clinical research project proposals for competitive grant funding, assessing scientific and technology analysis.
- Build networks and relationships with public sector agencies, R&D and clinical institutions, and company partners.
- Develop and lead national-level initiatives for the Human Health and Potential Research, Innovation and Enterprise domain.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high performance teams, instilling a culture of T-shaped domain knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in healthcare and biomedical sciences or related fields, with background in research, clinical trials, product development, technology commercialization, strategy, and/or business development.
- Prior experience working in a multi-national or Singapore pharmaceutical, medtech, diagnostics, or biotech company.
- Passion and curiosity in science and technology, able to handle diverse technical topics.
- Ability to quickly understand and architect new/emerging scientific and technology areas, IP positions, and commercialization strategies.
- Passion and experience in business development, structuring R&D and clinical collaborations, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage top executive level stakeholders.
