About the role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious postdoctoral scientist to develop novel base chemistry of high commercial value for Life Science Tool (LST) applications. You will work with various GIS PIs, focusing on aspects of Life Science Tool development to polish the development that meets management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop novel base chemistry and assays for LST application in collaboration with the main PI of the Laboratory of Diagnostic Accessibility.
  • Support the main PI in developing business cases for relevant grant applications to support development projects.
  • Interact with GIS PIs to develop, define, and fine-tune new ideas for LST development using base chemistry expertise.
  • Lead LST development as an innovation project under GIS’ Fellowship of Spin-off.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the main PI.

Requirements

  • Relevant Ph.D. in Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field (conferred or expected within 6 months).
  • At least 3-5 years of industry experience in the research and development of LST.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to explain complex concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
