Seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to contribute to analytical method development and metabolomics for next-generation biotherapeutics.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to method development, characterisation studies and metabolomics investigations, from experimental planning through to data interpretation.
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot LC–MS platforms, with opportunities to adopt and optimise new analytical technologies.
- Develop and refine sample preparation workflows, including the use of automated liquid handling systems.
- Apply statistical, chemometric and data‑driven approaches to complex datasets to uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and contribute to publications, presentations and project reports.
- Support laboratory functions, safety and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Biochemical/Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in analytical method development, biotherapeutic characterisation and/or metabolomics (industry or academic experience welcomed).
- Proficiency in liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) operation and maintenance is desired.
- Hands‑on experience with automated liquid handling for sample prep or workflow automation.
- Strong foundation in working with complex, high‑volume biological datasets, using statistical and computational approaches (such as R) to uncover actionable biological insights.
- High level of scientific rigour, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high‑quality data.
