Senior/Research Engineer focused on photonics and flat optics integration, driving innovative module development, process optimization, DOE evaluations, and predictive modeling within a semiconductor research fab environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and innovate critical photonics/flat optics modules
- Drive multi-functional teams to optimize existing process flows and create new integration solutions
- Define criteria for optimal design performance and process capability
- Initiate Design of Experiments (DOE) to characterize process windows
- Evaluate and implement new integration schemes and establish proof‑of‑concepts
- Summarize complex problems and communicate actions to unit process, design, and fabrication teams
Requirements
- Degree or Master in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or equivalent
- 2‑3 years experience in semiconductor industry, preferably silicon or photonics process integration
- MS/PhD candidates with hands‑on knowledge of semiconductor unit processes (etch, lithography, deposition) and photonics device physics are also considered
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
- Effective communication and presentation skills for cross‑functional collaboration
