Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project accounting for development projects, including capital expenditure tracking and compliance with IFRS/AASB standards.
- Collaborate with development project managers, finance teams, and offshore delivery teams.
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Design and implement improved workflows for project accounting and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial risks and maintain strong internal controls.
Requirements
- Proven industry experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial control with minimum 7 years of experience in project accounting, ideally within the real estate development sector.
- Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale property development projects and associated financial controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.
