Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, audit, and tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain the general ledger, manage fixed assets and leases, coordinate month-end closing activities, liaise with the shared service team, and ensure timely submission of management reports.
- Prepare month-end closing reports and schedules promptly.
- Perform analytical reviews of profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and trend analysis.
- Ensure timely collection, review, and reporting of all financial data for the month.
- Maintain detailed records of all company-owned assets and manage lease agreements and track asset depreciation.
Requirements
- A recognised degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA Australia.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in Finance.
- Experience using computerized accounting packages such as SAP is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
