About the role
Deloitte's Global Trade Advisory practice seeks an Associate to provide tailored advice on international trade, customs, and ESG matters, working with a team on trade compliance reviews and supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Learning regulations and principles of international trade, including WTO and WCO frameworks
- Working with clients to navigate tariff and non-tariff barriers
- Using proprietary Deloitte technology for global trade advisory
- Advising on carbon tax, CBAM, and extended producer responsibility schemes with the ESG team
- Providing advice on Free Trade Agreements, HS Code classification, customs valuation, transfer pricing, export controls, supply chain management
- Applying for trade schemes provided by Singapore Customs
Requirements
- Degree with a major in international trade, law, accounting and finance, economics, or supply chain-related fields
- Strong interest in varied work and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to present complex issues clearly and concisely
- Ability to synthesize complex information, critically analyze and articulate thoughts clearly
- Excellent research and project management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
