About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing a shift in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are met. Key duties include meeting production targets, improving yield, managing manpower, and fostering continuous improvement. The role requires a diploma or degree in engineering or a related field, 2-5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, and strong communication and coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet production targets, linearity of WIP and maximize the capacity of equipment.
  • Raise awareness and improve overall fab yield.
  • Foster a highly disciplined and productive workforce.
  • Building and nurturing a workforce that strives for continuous improvements.
  • To maintain a good audit prod and follow up.
  • Resource management, manage multi-skills training.
  • Achieve higher moves and turns as work progresses more rapidly.
  • Maximize utilization of both manpower and equipment capacity.
  • Develop a conducive working environment and progressive workforce.
  • To achieve a safe, green and healthy environment.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical, or related technical field.
  • 2–5 years experience in high‑volume manufacturing; semiconductor, electronics, or similar cleanroom/automated environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict‑handling skills.
  • Ability to organize manpower, assign tasks, and manage breaks while maintaining output.
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift environment (rotating shifts, weekends, nights).
