Key Responsibilities

- This role is responsible for sustaining, improving, and optimizing etch equipment and related processes to ensure stable tool performance, robust process control, high product quality, and manufacturing excellence in a high-volume semiconductor environment.
- This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that support fab readiness and operational performance.
- Key Responsibilities Own and support etch equipment performance, process stability, and manufacturability in a high-volume production environment.
- Lead technical troubleshooting efforts for process excursions, equipment drift, chamber instability, profile deviation, contamination, and yield detractors .
- Support process tuning, chamber matching, recipe optimization, and equipment qualification for advanced etch processes.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will serve as a key technical contributor, working closely with Process Integration, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams to drive tool qualification, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement .
- This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions that support fab readiness and operational performance.
- Support process tuning, chamber matching, recipe optimization, and equipment qualification for advanced etch processes.
- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, BKMs, qualification reports, and process guidelines .
- Demonstrated expertise with Trymax and Axcelis tools , including: tool setup and operation process tuning chamber matching equipment qualification troubleshooting and process correction Strong knowledge of etch process fundamentals , including: plasma behavior selectivity anisotropy profile control endpoint considerations defectivity management Practical experience in equipment troubleshooting, process stabilization, and defect reduction .
- Familiarity with metrology and analytical tools relevant to etch processes, such as: CD-SEM SEM profilometry thickness measurement particle monitoring surface inspection tools Strong capability in DOE, SPC, data analysis, and root cause investigation .
