About the role
The Project Manager for Mechanical Systems oversees the end-to-end delivery of complex mechanical infrastructure and equipment integration projects. This role focuses on managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet strict industrial and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of mechanical engineering projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budget tracking for mechanical systems
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure project alignment
- Oversee the procurement of mechanical components and equipment required for facility upgrades
- Manage site safety and compliance with EHS standards during mechanical installation phases
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to executive leadership
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project delays or cost overruns
- Validate that mechanical system designs meet facility requirements and SEMI standards
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of managing large-scale mechanical infrastructure projects
- Strong proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project or Primavera
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical building codes, HVAC systems, and industrial piping
- Experience with CAD software for reviewing mechanical layouts and system designs
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Familiarity with EHS and ISO safety regulations in industrial settings
