Key Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and negotiate complex agreements, ensuring favourable terms for the organization while complying with legal requirements.
  • Manage the full contract process, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Identify potential legal risks, ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Track vendor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of all contracts and provide reports on contract status and performance.
  • Mediate disagreements or misunderstandings between parties to avoid litigation and maintain productive relationships.
  • Deliver cost savings through vendor management.
  • Improve efficiency in the contracting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, liability, and intellectual property.
  • Ability to negotiate complex terms with external partners.
  • Meticulous review of documents to avoid errors or legal issues.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to liaise with internal departments (legal, finance, commercial) and external stakeholders.
