About the role
Lead robotics engineer responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying autonomous robotic systems, leveraging ROS, AI, computer vision, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design robotic systems, components, and prototypes
- Develop software for robot control, navigation, and decision-making
- Apply Control Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence for autonomous behaviour
- Integrate hardware (sensors, actuators) with software systems
- Ensure smooth communication between embedded systems and the Yard Digital Twin
- Utilise ROS (Robot Operating System) and related tools
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in robotics projects (e.g., university labs, competitions, or personal builds).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python for building and controlling robotic systems.
- Basic knowledge of robot simulation tools (e.g., Nvidia Isaac Lab).
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Experience with robotic frameworks (e.g., ROS, Open-RMF).
