About the role
The Quantity Measurement Lead Engineer is responsible for reviewing invoices, preparing timesheet and variation order claims, verifying subcontractor submissions, managing quantity remeasurement activities for steel, piping, and electrical works, and conducting onsite client visits to validate measurements. The role requires managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, with occasional overtime. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, have at least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or ship repair billing, preferably in marine and offshore projects, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities
- Review invoices and prepare timesheet claims to customers.
- Calculate and prepare Variation Order (VO) claims for customers.
- Verify VO and timesheets claims submitted by subcontractors.
- Perform and manage quantity remeasurement activities, such as for steel, piping, and electrical works.
- Attend onsite visits with clients to verify and validate quantity measurements.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize workload appropriately, engage with customers/subcontractors, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering; candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Preferably with experience in marine and offshore projects.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, or Ship Repair Billing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to prepare accurate worksheets with minimal errors.
- If necessary, employees be ready to work outside working hours (overtime) to accomplish work completion.
