About the role

The EIT Engineer will develop and deliver technical documentation, support construction of marine and offshore vessels, ensure compliance with classification and safety standards, and coordinate with vendors, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical documentation such as cable block diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, material and equipment specifications, bills of materials, cable schedules, and termination drawings.
  • Collaborate within a 3D design modeling environment alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Provide technical support throughout the construction process of marine and offshore vessels.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Marine Classification Society rules and relevant industry codes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, regulatory bodies, customer representatives, and production teams, including shipboard visits when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit engineering documentation required by certifying authorities and production departments to meet project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Marine and/or Offshore industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering practices related to Marine and Offshore vessels.
  • Familiarity with rules and regulations of leading Classification Societies and Regulatory Authorities.
  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of Ship Repair, Major Offshore, and Conversion projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
